                                        "MOTHER"                   
                    - A word that means the world to me.


"Mother" is such a simple word,

But to me there’s meaning seldom heard.

For everything I am today,
My mother’s love showed me the way.

I’ll love my mother all my days,
For enriching my life in so many ways.
She set me straight and then set me free,
And that’s what the word "mother" means to me.

Mom, without you, there would be no me.

Your love, your attention, your guidance,
have made me who I am.
Without you, I would be lost,
wandering aimlessly,
without direction or purpose.
You showed me the way
to serve, to accomplish, to persevere.
Without you, there would be an empty space
I could never fill, no matter how I tried.
Instead, because of you,
I have joy, contentment, satisfaction and peace.
Thank you, mom.

Falling out of LOVE

                  

                                           "This is an era of infidelity." 

People who vehemently support “arranged marriages” blame love for it. It does make you giggle, eh? Ok, what they mean by this, as I understand, is that, those who fall in love prior to marriage/s are more likely to be infidels. Fair enough. But then, what is infidelity? Rather, where is the germ of infidelity supposed to reside, in the mind or the body? If it were in the mind, marrying X when in love with Y amounts to infidelity. If it is the latter, need I even say?

You may think that life is all rosy for a couple in love who duly marry each other, with or without parents’ support/blessing, after n years of courtship, understanding and constant periods of muted struggle. Shockingly, it is not the case. Why? As easily as a man or a woman falls in love, they fall out of love.

Well, may be not so easily or quickly. It does seem like a slow death. Being married, in a way pressurizes them to keep the spark of love alive, somehow, I used to think. But the mere sight at the 

entrance of Family Courts is dejecting. 

Being “only in love” makes the closing ceremony spectacularly uncomplicated to snap, couples say after a comprehensive-break-up. How is being in love any different from being married, as far as the ones who are concerned?

For all the sermons on moral depravity, mental maturity and mummifying love’s eternal sanctity, I don’t find the problem resting with these - whether it is an arranged marriage or not, or there is an act of infidelity involved or not. The issue is stark. Gone are the days where we could claim, “once in love, always in love” (with the same person, i.e) proudly. We are falling out of love, surely and slowly. Like a friend once quipped, “I don’t feel loved the way I should be.” Who is to be blamed here? The one who doesn’t love or appears so, or the one who feels unloved or imagines so? All of us are the products of great expectations. So I say, these are difficult times.

Corrupt Societies Deserve Corrupt Politicians

As I start to write this article, there is scorching heat outside  in the college with the sun shining above. There is no creature to be seen outside, be it a bird or some human being. There is silence and everybody is most probably locked up in their rooms in the hostel...

This description shows the desperate situation for humans but nothing can be done, we cannot stop the sun from shinning. It is just the way nature is. One may argue that this desperate and painful experience of scorching heat just out of control of humans as I mentioned earlier.

But, have we done anything where we can stop the exploitation of human life? As I continue to write this letter,bib big scams are going on for common wealth games; politicians are working on new schemes for plundering the wealth of their respective countries and etc etc.

A normal citizen of the world may argue with this as well, pointing out to the fact that politicians are powerful people and they can do what ever they want, it’s the public that suffers as always. One hears this argument day in and day out. Have our minds become so numb that we don’t see the crimes the general public commits such as students cheating in exams, a road side shopkeeper selling substandard goods, a milkman selling intoxicated milk and bla bla. The point here is that the general public commits crimes where it can. It does not matter to them if they are exploiting the rights of their lower class. All they know is that they are benefiting be it a milkman or a big business tycoon.

.Therefore, be a it a big crime or a small crime, crime is a crime. Before, we abuse our politicians and the powerful people we need to look at ourselves as in what were are doing. Remember one rule in life, if majority of the general public ends up being honest, there is no way a corrupt politician could survive. Corrupt rulers are for a corrupt society. It is so simple! ! ! ......Isn't it???

Window of perception

I ll give u a short story first for a vivid idea about this.....

A newlywed couple moved to an apartment in a very busy neighborhood. On the first morning in their new home, after she had made coffee, the young bride looked through the window and watched her neighbor hanging sheets out to dry. What dirty sheets! she thought to herself. Every few days, she muttered the same thing to her husband with disdain while watching her neighbor hanging out the dirty laundry in the early-morning light.

A month passed, and one day the young wife was surprised to see that her neighbor was hanging out perfectly clean sheets. She exclaimed to her husband, “Look! She finally learned to wash her clothes. I wonder who taught her how.”

The husband replied, “Well in reality, darling, the only difference is that I got up early this morning and cleaned the window.”

Tainted by the beliefs and ideas we have adopted from the past, its distorted surface creates our world and governs our perception of the universe. In most cases, our windows are covered in the grime and dust of a lifetime, clouding our vision, blocking the light of the truth from view.

WINDOW OF THE MIND - The window of the mind becomes dirty when the subconscious is full of self-criticism and fear-based opinions. Unfortunately, this is the case for many of us — erratic, incessant thoughts are our constant companions. Our adult minds are in perpetual chaos and contradiction. Our thoughts push endlessly for our attention, as we jump from one distraction to another. This incessant thinking affects our entire nervous system.

We seldom feel complete in the present moment. In the modern world, people at all levels of society and in every walk of life struggle with a feeling of underlying dissatisfaction and unrest. We often find ourselves yearning for something more — no matter what we have achieved in our lives, the fulfillment we so desire remains elusive.

   

Many of us find that our attention constantly gravitates toward what is wrong with our lives. We hardly ever focus on appreciating all the wonderful things we have; instead we habitually criticize our surroundings, blaming the outside for our discontent. We are seldom in the present moment long enough to embrace the magic of the now.

                        

                      So how do we reverse this? How do we clean our window, and rediscover the beauty of the present moment?

You create your own reality. You decide what you’re going to choose for. You can choose for the fear, or you can choose for the love. You can make that choice in every moment, and you can surrender to what is in every moment. U just hope for a world free from conflict, but don’t wait for the world to change. Change yourself, and then you will be contributing in the most profound and effective way to a peaceful planet.

"HEART" - a beautiful sun

Heavenletters:

Your heart is a beautiful sun meant for all to see like a sunrise. The sun of your heart can be covered up, and yet it continues to shine its light. You can cover up your love as clouds cover the sun, yet the clouds do not stop the sun. The clouds do not even touch it. The sun shines regardless of what is superimposed upon it. The sun of your heart shines the same no matter how many fences and moats and shades of night do their cover-up.

You might as well give up on hiding the fullness of your heart. Cover-up is a lost cause. Like make-up, it washes off. Go ahead and use make-up if it makes you happy, yet how well you know that dimming the sun of your heart makes you unhappy. You may dress your heart in varied costumes of haute couture or rags and all the styles in between.

Nevertheless, the sun of your heart is undaunted. The love within you will shine through, and it will be as good as new. It will be as fresh as a daisy. It never grows old, not even cold no matter how much ice you store in your heart. Your heart is going to shine so brightly that you will know that your heart had been parading in poor costumes. The veils over love will disappear, and there will be the sunshine of all the love in your heart that I put there. All that love of yours will burst through all the bonds. Your heart will not be sullied. It will not be worse for wear.

The muscles of your love are always growing, and they will  break the pitiful shackles and disguises you have put on your love. The sunlight of your love will burst through. Say when. Say when now.

Oh, what a radiant sun you have concealed in your heart! .  All the while, you had it all backwards.

What is anger but a cover-up of love? What is fear? What is dislike? You feel the contrast of the lesser emotions with the love in your heart. The lesser emotions are more fired up, and so you call the lesser emotions true and the land you call love far-fetched or even lost, as if the sun of your heart can stay in the dark long or be missing.

You know how to sweep a room and dust off furniture. Sweep the dross out of your heart. Clean your heart like a mirror and look into it. See the sunlight sparkle. Remove the particles that hide your light. Pick out old hurts and dislikes. Use tweezers if you must or a spoon, and get them out. Make way for the sun, for you are to shine it.

Relation is not a costume nor is it jewelry, yet do wear the sun of your love like a diamond. Your love is a diamond. Bare your heart. Your heart has nothing more to do than to be seen. If you at present cannot seem to see the brilliance of your relation, then make sure to give it, and you will see it reflected in the light of others' eyes.

Perhaps your relation has been like a fire that has been burning long, and certain overlays have made the fire smoky, leaving ashes and residue that interfere with the fire's natural ability. Remove the soot. Clean that chimney. Too much residue from the past has been kept there. Return your heart to its original luster. Get going on it now. This is just a heart-cleaning day.... isnt it?

It plays a dominant role in r career.......
   It is a part n parcel of r life.......
      It can witness many lives....
          It is d mst important column in the mental profile of an "ENGINEERING STUDENT"
              Millions n billions of hearts are slaves for it

 n that Is "RELATION"

.....                                  ........ what I say is an "ATTACHMENT"

I  tune friendship as
                                "THERE COULDN'T BE ANY THING ,ONE CANT BE WITH OUT IT"
                                     n that is just a unique relation...

There are many types or relations.....frndship,love, a sexual relation indeed......
                

                                     The most difficult thing i believe is to set a relation.This is one n only task which involves an indirect conversation b\w 2 hearts.The person may be a boy or a girl.Once if v commit with a relation to somebody,that becomes a permanent file in r heart.I mean that cannot be removed or even changed or modified n now it is responsible for tuning ur whole life.....
                                  
I got a  bewildering dream few days ago.I remember just a part of it...it was like.....
                                      A soul was confused standing between hell n heaven as they looked alike.The first guard invited him inside for mental peace,liberty n choice.The other guard offered thrill and ecstasy.As the tempted soul entered the second place,the guard locked the door and smiled,"this is how we lure the people inside".
                                    That dream really taught many lessons about life n its relations.Language is inefficient to express them.

I struggled  4 many days 2 get the basic reason for deterrence of one's mental peace...The final answer of my heart is ATTACHMENT. yeah .....ye  "ATTACHMENT IS A MAIN DETERRENT TO MENTAL NPEACE".the deterrence here is a kind of fear or a power blow to one's ego.
On the other hand ,it is true that a relation makes a person satisfied and happier worth more than  billion dollars.So i believe that "UNHEALTHY ATTACHMENT WITH A HABIT IS A VICE".Non attachment brings wisdom n freedom.

To make a healthy attachment or for pure commitments in a relation(I stress again whatevr the relation may be),the heart n soul of a person must be ACTIVE,EMOTIONAL AND RATIONAL.

While developing an attachment one should think of 3 aspects
"Is my attachment of obsolute perfection or is a hobby?"
"In long run will it lead to happiness(mental peace)or otherwise?"

"Am I deviating 4m my goals or my unique character?"

N If u get justifiable answers to these questions,then ur relation is concretely fabulous.....!!!!

This post shows how deep rooted is the affect of caste system on Indian politics...
The issue of ppl using caste tags to their names has been an agitating tune of my secular mind.
                      Many political leaders who dreamt of forming a casteless society have worked towards their goal.Although such progressive movements have helped to some extent,the deep rooted in r society.It is true that people,on the one hand,raise slogans for abolishing caste system and,on the other,refuse to shed their "UBIQUITOUS"caste names trailing their first names....WHAT AN IRONY.......!!!!!.That politicians with their honorific caste based suffixes are clamouring to eliminate the caste system is indeed an IRONY...!
                     Disturbingly ,the caste factor has begun to play a larger role in the social and political arenas of India n especially A.P.
                     Priorities in voting during elections n ruling the nation or any particular state should not include caste feelings...rather it should be based on merit,talent,experience n other means.What i mean is to "DISCOURAGE A CASTE BASED CENSUS".The young should to give up their caste affiliations and refrain from using their caste in their names...
